Cryo-sectioning of vitreous samples on the ultramicrotome (Leica UC6). The interface of the Leica UC7 is nearly identical. The interface of the Leica Enuity is similar. The procedure is in all cases almost identical.

- deactivate the coupling of trimming/cutting start/stop with the pedal controling crion discharge.
